Atif Aslam’s concert gets cancelled in Gurgaon

Singer Atif Aslam just faced a repercussion of the entire Pakistani artistes-MNS controversy.

He couldn’t believe his ears when he was informed that his concert in Gurgaon (Delhi) has been cancelled after the leaders from the right wing Hindu party --Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Kranti Dal called for banning all the Pakistani artistes across the country. Atif's concert was scheduled for October 15, 2016.

The decision comes in wake of the Uri attacks that caused the killings of 18 Indian soldiers.

Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Kranti Dal has submitted a memorandum to the Gurgaon Deputy Commissioner T L Satyaprakash which demanded the cancellation of the show.

The letter reads, “If the event takes place, and any incident happens because of it, the district administration will be responsible”.

The letter blames the authorities for “playing with the sentiments of the country by giving Pakistani artistes permission to perform here. Soldiers are losing their lives at the border because of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.”

The organizers are planning to refund the money of the people who bought the tickets. Not just Atif’s, singer Shafqat Amanat Ali's concert which was scheduled for tomorrow (30th Sep, 2016) in Bengaluru has been called off due to similar pressures.

Yesterday, SpotboyE.com was the first one to tell you about Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's ouster from the film Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Ladoo Deewana. Producer TP Aggarwal is looking out for an Indian singer to replace Rahat. (MNS Effect: Pakistani Singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan Thrown Out Of A Film, Sep 28)
